About
For nigh-on thirty years I have lived in the agricultural flat-lands of East Anglia, so imagine my delight at being able to literally step out of my front door and to walk, draw and paint in the South Devon landscape.
My way of working is to get out and draw - usually in pencil, but sometimes in ink and sometimes in watercolour. I often return to the same place and draw what I see again and again in different lights and seasons. I might work on several paintings from one drawing, developing an idea as the painting progresses.
